My chow chow, Simba, now 14 and still chasing squirrels in our back yard, He loves everyone, and I have had 5 over the years, I think we have the same personality, so it is the only breed I prefer. They are very loyal and protective. They get a bad wrap only 1 of my Chows bit someone and it was a woman I told not to touch my daughter and she reached into the car to touch my daughters braids when she was young and she bit her on that arm. She would stand between my daughter and myself if I yelled at my daughter. She was warned.
