Here is something easier if you are on pocket


1.go to settings
2.copy your world
3.go to the copy of your world
4.change it to creative/ Spectator mode
5. Find treasure
6.remember coordinates
7.now go to your world
8.dig up that treasure

If you're on pockt edition, just leave the game and come back repeatedly. It will reload all chuncks causing tile entities (like the chest) to render a moment before blocks do, allowing you to quickly xray for it.

Other is, face north and make sure the x covers all the parts of the palyer marker but leave like a 1 pixel white gap of the back and dig 1 block infront
