On your first craft, the four-sided pumpkin planter, my suggestion would be to paint the stems brown so they really stand out as pumpkins.

you can also bake your cinnamon dough in the oven. I did it as a teen in the 70's and made cookie cutter cut outs and bake them.. We also made a "salt dough" with flour, water and salt we baked them in the oven and then painted them with craft paint

Fall. I love the haunted houses with the tea light candles. The spray painted hydrangeas look a lot like how my limelight hydrangeas dry in the fall. I leave them on the bush until the cold weather comes and then they get into a nice rusty brown color. Then I clip them and use them in my floral. I don't decorate much for Halloween anymore but my grandchildren love anything Halloween so I may make the spider bowls and play around with the spiders a little bit for things to make for them. arrangements.

Liz, I wanted to share an old craft with you after watching an old post you made. One of your projects was a place mat you saw in Dollar Tree and then you glued it to make a “vase”. It ended up so-so. I’m 80 years old and still teach many classes on all different crafts. Back in my earlier days when 78 vinyl records were going out of style (now turn tables for 78’s are back!!!). Anyway, we were making crafts out of 78’s and 45’s. Lay a 78 record over a bowl appropriate for the size bowl/vase/flower pot/etc. Preheat your oven to 275* - 300*, turn your bowl upside down on a cookie sheet, lay the record with the center hole centered over the bowl. Put it in your hot oven. I can’t remember how long it takes but watch the magic. The record will melt over the bowl with unusual wavy edges. Pretty clever, huh?
