$6 billion is a drop in the bucket for FB. They should be fined per each user where it would hit them hard. Only than will they actually do anything.

I’m sure the revenue they received from 3rd parties far exceeds $5bn.

The should've fined Facebook for 15 – 30% of a years profit to make it count.

Only applies to around 190 million US facebook account.
They have more than 2.3 billion active users from around the world. That will fuel their data hunger.

I solved that problem this year... I deleted my face book. Honestly it felt good and I have a sensation of being "freed".

Should have fined them$1 Trillion, and have the owner receive all the world’s robo-calls for a decade. Only then will they learn!

They should fine him more, so he can’t keep preventing other social medias (like onAire) from growing.

Rule number one seems the most fragile. Unless the standard of “need of data” is set by trustable organization or collective user survey.

Serious inquiry here...why has Facebook not been shut down altogether?

And what about Google, YouTube, Twitter.?? It's No only FB. . . Now Google and YouTube have abusive advertising campaign. And we don't have control (of don't want to see) of this abusive advertising campaign, if you don't like one advertising they change for another. I feel bullying for this adv/commercials. When the ads appear I close the video. And continue search for a video with Ads. If not I move to other place like Vimeo or Daily Motion. . . Forget YouTube.
