Curiously----it would be interesting, after these tests, to then take them to a cell phone repair shop to see what the costs would be to fix a phone after the different kinds of drops. Just a thought? Not actually fix them but get a quote and post?

so ironic, note 5 has alot of glass, front and back but the iphone 6 plus is way more fragile than the note 5 hahaha

To truly test if the Note 5 screen still works after dropping it, use a finger instead. The screen will always work with the S pen, even if the digitizer is damaged (won't respond to fingers but will respond to s pen)

Apple need to realise that if they're going to curve the glass on their phones, they need to make it more durable. The glass is the first thing that's hit when it's dropped, and even with devices like the GS6 Edge, the bezel still protrudes slightly above the display so the glass doesn't take full impact.

if you use the samsung cover for the note 5 you can drop it all you want because it cushions it and it sits above the screen so it cushions the screen as well. I drive a ford F150 that sits high and ive dropped my phone tons of times from face height getting out of my truck.

it's sad, but we all put a glass protector on day one as we buy the phones and open them in the stores. i sure wouldn't get out of a store with a new phone without glass protector...
