Sheesh! I know this is years after the fact but I sure hope she kept careful records of the receipts she got from the agency. Also, all agents are supposed to have errors & omissions insurance to take care of the losses from this kind of screw-up. Hope she got reimbursed for all court costs, lost wages, other out of pocket expenses related (e.g. taxis, Uber/Lyft, public transit, etc.) not to mention aggravation. Most of all, that she switched to a more responsible carrier asap.
