The marketing campaign for this game was something special to see. Bandai was so unapologetically confident that this game would be an absolute banger since the day it got revealed and they went extra hard with the constant flow of trailers just showing off everything and maintaining the hype. I think they released like 50 some odd trailers of just character reveals and they all got millions of views. Unprecedented traction for a licensed anime game, let alone an arena fighter. Budokai Tenkaichi 4 is like the Half-Life 3 of anime games so I’m that surprised, but damn. It’s dope that it’s finally here and it somehow circumvented Bandai’s usual greedy practices with that insane character roster. I wish I could say all anime games may look like this going forward, but I think only this particular game earned this treatment for obvious reasons. I’m really excited to try this

Possibly my favorite thing about this game of is that they had no plans for split screen fans didnt like it so they LISTENED TO THE FANBASE and added it... Though just on a plain white stage of the time chamber... Its something they added late because the fanbase wanted it maybe make more stages later but just refreshing to see a company be like oh thats what yall want ok bet well take note and try to do what we can to make it work.... Sad that its came to a company paying attention to their fanbase is considered a positive and not the norm
