This is a parody of skincare commercials and the many influencers that encourage self love by getting their followers to buy more stuff. It's meant to be a satire, meaning this is not a real product, but the truth is very much real. And my hope is that this will make you laugh and make you think -- I strive for multilayered comedy sketches and skits that actually get to the heart of our cultural ridiculousness and also invite discussion on the many weird things we do as internet folks. I love poking fun at current events and making relevant comedy similar to that of Key & Peele type humor and Black Lady Sketch Show. So this video is really in that vain, making fun of the internet as we know it, and injecting some truth, too.

I love this video, I really want to share my perspective on the subject of self love and self care. We often limit it to going out there and “spoiling ” ourselves for a day, but there’s more to it.

Can definitely relate to self love struggles. I left social media 5 years ago and I've been sooo much happier 😳

Had to let a couple of friendships go as well when I noticed it was like talking to someone's Facebook wall 😓. The connection and conversations even in real life had become off. That point on healing without anybody seeing hits 😳🙈. Plus loneliness can mess with you especially at the beginning.

Love the video! Those ingredience though ( haters tears) . I did experience some tension as a teen but found that the more time I spent getting to know and appreciate myself instead of focusing on others the more my self love grew.
