I really don't understand how people who upload are able to play like this. I would've been killed by a sniper 2km away, a man with a pistol riding in the carriage of a motorcycle 800m away, and a bomber plane just crashing into me within 2 seconds of being there

Fun fact (or not depending on how you look at it): The Tankgewehr M1918 had such a violent kick that the recoil would sometimes dislocate the shoulder of the gunner firing it if not held correctly. Even if the shoulder survived, the shooter would often be left bruised and out of breath after even just a few shots.

Safe to say TBag's character would be thankful that this isn't modeled in the game, as it would take more than a medkit to fix.

When I see articles coming out about the best weapons in games this one always comes to mind. There is NO more satisfying weapon to use. Period. It's well balanced (considering it's an elite kit, so yeah it's gonna be better than other weapons), and you can FEEL the power, how it would have broken the shoulders of soldiers during WW1

I’ve been doing this since 2016 when the game came out. I remember camping at the anti tank spot every st quentin, sinai desert and giant shadows to play with this satisfying, gorgeous and delicious gun. This gun (and the martini henry) is the reason why bf1 is one of the greatest fps games I ever played with over 3k kills and many hours of game makes the anti tank one the guns of this game.
Jokes apart this gun is a masterpiece.

Gonna nitpick here a bit and say that in real life you can't fire this gun at that rate and aim that accurately because it's heavy, the recoil is insane and the barrel will heat up so quickly that the gun will lose its efficacy after a few rounds.

Even from a purely ballistic standpoint, a sniper rifle is able to put a bullet at a target from afar better than an anti-material gun. Yes, the latter's kinetic energy is much higher, but it's not as ballistically stable and will start tumbling at a shorter range.

I really miss this game, damn. All I did was simply lie down with the Lewis gun and simply provide covering fire as I watch the whole team run away from the objective as they realise the opposing team airship is about to fall down on them

Moments like that is why I truly loved BF1

You know what I was playing BF1 and it made me think how many soldiers in WW1 & WW2 must have shot their own by mistake. An environment like that doesn’t even give you time to question who it could be because that could cost you your life

We were allowed to use “small arms” against enemy troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, the “small arms” is anything up to 40mm. So yes, we often pumped those jokers full of 25mm from our Bradley fighting vehicles. It would literally turn them inside out.
