This album changed my life. Such a positive record. Fun vibes. I miss the 80s with songs that have positive messages of fun, dreams and hope. Probably my all time favorite. However, Mine all Mine is poetically ingenious. There is not one Van Halen song with Sammy I don't absolutely love. Sammy Rules... All Sammy now, then and forever.

I bought this album on LP on its release day in 1986. I was blown away! No album has affected me like this one! Still my favorite rock album of all time! And the live without a net video sealed the deal!

5150 was the first Van Halen album I bought back in 1986. Used to watch “Live without a net” every day after school. I grew up on these songs!

He doesn't look like 71 years old. Maybe because he probably hasn't done drugs, taken prescribed medication, got much stressed or even had trouble sleeping. These things have a strong impact on precocious aging.

Dang can't believe it's been that long. I was 14. I bought the cassette, didn't have a working record player in 86. After cassettes went out I bought the CD and still have it. I loved the album then and still do. Thanks Sammy!
