If someone hires you based on that, that employer is an idiot

So basically, have experience even if you have no experience or you get no jobby

Haha :)) funny video.
On a serious note: almost all companies I've worked for, were/are using self hosted solutions (Atlassian/Bitbucket) for security concerns. Not sure what those concerns were, but it was company policy "no code outside the company's self-hosted solution".

LOL. Now let's have a look at those commits.

I not only have almost not Github projects and much less contributions, but I don't include my Github profile in my resume. I guess job market here is different.

Please don't judge by github activity, i'm using my company email and company github account so i can't show the activity 😑

That settings change won't change anything in my profile. Because work done under the company has a separate account. And we do not use GitHub at all 😥

Okay...now that...is a FLEX!!
Great job tho!

This doesn't even matter, some company's have their own private git, not all use github.

Soon people will start generating random historical commits in a private repo because nobody can see them anyways

If a company bases your worth as a developer off of your Github contributions... that's probably not a good company.

there is a 0-day for github to see private files, woks etc..

That’s pretty dumb. After 8-10 hours of work with a family and kids I’m not going to start contributing to open source. And pretty much 100% of code at work is strictly confidential. So am I not hired then?

Plot twist. most of those are comments. 😂
