Communication Defined

Just because we do something a lot doesn’t mean we do it well or really understand how it works. I know plenty of people with thousands of hours behind the wheel of a car who are terrible drivers and don’t know a spark plug from a lug nut. The same holds true for communication – experience is not the same as understanding. This mini-lecture breaks down a simple definition of “communication” in order to provide a solid foundation for further study.
