hearing him speak I was surprised he was not removed sooner. For example mocking long time servants back in the 1970s for believing the end was coming soon. He said he told his sons back then that we could still be in this system in 2020..His personality does not imitate Jesus in my opinion. Plus his apparent heavy drinking

It's hard not to be run over by the celestial chariot, if you're perpetually drunk.

The way he described Armagedin and what was going to happen to everyone who was not a JW was ruthless and harsh. It made me dislike every JW I met. A JW will take anything the walking dead can give them. They go to our Doctors but secretly believe the Doctor and all staff are the devil himself, yet they are first ones to get as many benefits and first in line for food stamps, free anything from people of the world yet talk that crap behind everyones back. Tony's talks have made me dislike my own Sister who is a JW, Beause she defends every word the governing body makes.

Tony got removed because he was afraid to go back to the liquor store to pick up hoards of 🥃 🍸. He was the delivery guy. The last time he was caught was too traumatic for him. He’s passing on his legacy to someone else.
Cheers! 🥂

They can remove Tony Morris, but they have to tip toe with him, he knows too much and any further confrontation would send Tony right to the FBI.

Tony must have messed up the delivery of the watchtower narrative! Lol

I would go with the Mark Sanderson Hypothesis. Tony and I were employed by the same JW employer in the late 70s. Tony was never without his bible and personal copy of the Watchtower magazine. He believed in the Watchtower having the final word on any matter. If I said something that Tony doubted I had to provide a reference from a Watchtower publication. Tony was a pure Watchtower company man.

A JW at a cart yesterday told me he stepped down due to health issues. I reminded her that no other gb member had ever resigned because of health reasons, so why now? She didn’t know how to respond. I then said if he has health issues it is most likely cirrhosis of the liver, because of his drinking issues.

Not sure myself. I would say Lett is by far the most batshit crazy of the bunch followed by Herd and then Tony. Feeling like strong directional opinions for organization have caused this. A holding fast to the old doctorines verses changes to keep the bubble from bursting

SCENARIO #7: He found out they won't be serving whiskey in the new system.

He was talking like demons would. The natural dark negative energy filled his angel heart. Now you know why.

He clearly wasn’t happy, you don’t buy that much alcohol if you’re happy.

Interesting possible scenarios. However I’m not buying the 🥃 one. Bottlegate was 4 years ago. Morris saw dreadful things in Vietnam he was not a soldier I think he was a medic or assistant so he probably had that issue for decades. They have not announced this at the meeting so many JWs are not aware of these events.

I have not yet listened to your entire video, so you may correct yourself later, but I felt the need to make this correction. If you read Ray Franz book, Crisis of Conscience, then you know he resigned from the Governing Body of his own accord and he and his wife left Bethel. It was on good terms because WT shipped their personal belongings and furniture to their new home . I don’t recall exactly but I think Georgia or Alabama. He got a job from a JW that was his landlord. This JW decided to disassociate, at the time, if you disassociated, you were not treated as disfellowshipped, but as a non believer. Ray had lunch at a restaurant with this man, his employer and landlord and was subsequently disfellowshipped.

To be honest, I don't care why he was removed. Watchtower has plenty of drones to take his place. It won't make any difference. The rank and file will swallow anything that they are told by Watchtower. The organization will down play the real reason. But really, Who knows? Who cares?

My thoughts - i think we all realise that Tony Morris has been a PR disaster for the public face of the watchtower brand for some time, continually straying away from his scripts with his vile disgusting rants. And the fact that he was half pissed most of the time didn't help him.
Arrogant Uncle Tony dosn't come across as the type of animal that would take to be being told to tone things down, I think he butted heads with more than just one of the others, they wanted to get rid of him - so they introduce two new g/b members & hey presto, they had the number of vote's to delete him. At last the old lion was out smarted.
I wouldn't be surprised if he was given a huge pay off with a gagging order attached to keep his mouth shut & just go quietly.
Mark (no neck) Sanderson has definitely thought of himself as the new top-gun for quite awhile.
We'll have to wait & see how this all plays out, but i don't think we are that wide of the mark - someone in the CULT compound is sure to start leaking.
When i rang the uk branch this week as a extremely concerned jw about the unexpected announcement - I posed the question to the service desk liar - "does this mean that bro. Morris no longer has jeh.'s holy spirit".

1 possibility you didn't mention. First things CO's do when visiting a Congregation is the books. To make sure the Corporation does not violate IRS tax laws for a nonprofit Religious Organisation. I've seen whole Elder bodies removed for just that! Tony may have put the Organisation at risk of losing that religious tax free status. 🤔 Either way, it does prove the GB does not have Holy Spirit like they claim.

Maybe he does not want to be part of the abrahamic house, the one world faith

Some activists said that one of his daughter in law reported him to the GB about his problem with alcohol. It was a bethelite that said that.

Isn't it possible that Tony's wife put pressure on him because whe wanted out of Bethel? He is married, right? And she does live with him at Bethel, right? Living inside the bubble of Bethel has to be a confining experience. Maybe she just told Tony she didn't want to live what's rest of their lives inside the Bethel bubble and Tony decided to go along with her rather than have her be unhappy.
