Merci beaucoup,
I stopped painting several years ago and your videos helped me painting the figures of this game.
Thanks to you, Nice work.

You sir are a maestro,

As someone who works professionally in color (computer graphics) I find myself in awe of your ability to tease the nuances from the miniatures .
You seem to intrinsically understand that simply brightening with white may not engender the right result - instead add some gray and a hint of yellow - awesome!!

However - from time to time I find myself scratching my head in bewilderment ... You are a finer painter than I am in my wildest dreams -
although - you have inspired me to take on this medium simply to see what I can do with it - but ... Sometimes - as in this model I cannot understand your thought process ..
You have beautifully darkened and highlighted most of the model - but on the legs and lower arms - the shadow is so stark as to be off-putting - they look like pineapples -
or like holes have been blasted through them.

For me it is an odd dichotomy - you are quite probably the best miniature painter I've come across so far - but yet sometimes I find myself asking WTF?

I felt the same way with the over emphasis on the musculature of one of your boss zombies (sorry don't remember what it was called) ..

Generally you have most excellent taste in shadowing and highlighting - only sometimes it seems you could perhaps tone down the shadowing a little bit?

I'm sorry this is not fan-boi - - I am a huge fan .. I truly wish you every success -- From the sound of things you are getting close to being able to do this professionally -
and I revel in enjoyment that yet another person can make a living out of something they love which is perhaps not mainstream ... I do love your work -
but can I ask you to have a look at your model's legs and ask yourself - does that look like realistic shadowing?

I only found you recently - and I love your stuff --- more please - you have inspired me to see what I can do.

Not only this --- You are most likely the most helpful and professionally produced Youtuber in this particular field as well - I also make films and do editing and sound-design.
You deserve to be even bigger than you are right now - and I look forward to watching your fame grow into an even more successful Channel -

My hat is off to you, sir.

I just got caught up on your Star Wars painting series. Some really great tutorials and painting ideas in all of them. I'll be looking forward to hopefully seeing some more videos in this series.

Thanks again for this series, has really added to the group's enjoyment of the game. Starting Diala today, hoping to see a video on Mak soon, I'm petrified of having to do it without guidance :)

Hey Sorastro, thanks for all of the amazing painting tutorials!
I was just wondering if you had an alternate way of painting on the glasses/visor? Now that the glazes product line is discontinued.
Love the music!

I love these tutorial videos! I have been model painting for 13 years now "im 23", I cant express enough how helpful your videos are. I am red green colorblind and sometimes I have a hard if not possible time figuring out the colors to use. now with these vids my friends and family are just in awe because of how close I got to the card art. thank you for all that you do! ps. are you going to do a vid on mak esskary "the bothen spy"? anyway looking forward to new videos. :)

Stunning job. I love the weathering, and the orange glaze on the hat is a fantastic touch. It really helps make it look leathery.

Is it Mak next, or will you do the Zombicide video first?

Either way, thanks again for these videos. I'm going to make a start on Fenn tomorrow. :)

Hello Sorastro! Awesome video as always! What type of brush were you using for the highlights after the washing?
I'm also really bad with the wash applying. Do you have any good video guides? I tend to add a lot of wash to fill the folds etc.

Hi,
Thanks you so much for your videos. Really helpful with a lot of great advises.
One question: I do not have a lot of new citadel paints on blue palet. DO you know if old ice blue would match temple guard blue and if shadow grey would match eshin grey (eshin looks close to eshin but may be a bit darker on my screen)?
Thanks again for the great job.

Mr S. Any idea when you will be getting around to the Bantha? As this would also cover the Tuskan Raider miniatures. Keep up with the excellent work. Just need a video each week :) Just used it tonight in a tourney and the figure is awesome to look at and game with, but prefer painted figures when gaming.

Dear Sorastro, Yet another masterpiece! I'm waiting with baited breath to see you work your magic on the tank from Return to Hoth. (My Christmas present from She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed!) LoL! My only comment regarding this vehicle or more importantly the driver/figure is that it looks under scale. Hope you & you Family are keeping well? Kind Regards Johnny

Hey! You are doing a great job! Rly nice to watch and learn from. My only question is if you are going to keep on painting imperial assault minis. Maybe Rebel Saboteurs or Hired Guns?

Hello again Sorastro, perfect video as always! Quick question, have you already got twin shadows or return to Hoth expansions? There are some very very good minis to paint, such as Banthas and wampas!

Hej Sorastro, I really enjoy your work and am always mezmerized by the painting, explanation and music alike.

Regarding the music have you ever thought about putting out some of your music and or putting together longer sets. I just recently started going a bit more seriously into table top with Imperial Assault and I would love to use your music as a background for our play sessions.

Maybe in form of a Patreon reward, or general crowd funding reward.
Great work like yours should be rewarded. ;)
