Thank you for these 2 methods:
2:41 Method 1: chunk into smaller sequences (both hands as one maneuver)
8:26 Method 2: focus on connecting both hands (precise movements)

As an absolute beginner starting at the age of 40 it almost seems impossible sometimes, but this gives me hope

I want to thank you for helping me when I first started out. I still consider myself pre-Beginner even though I can do many "Intermediate" skills. I really lack musicality since I probably have Aural Aphantasia. But I learned the Rule of the Octave last month and by practicing that, I have a better understanding what music is supposed to do. Much of the work I'm doing is relearning my chord inversions and progressions but applying them to cadences. My piano teacher thinks I'm a real theory Geek, but he's happy to accompany me along.

Thank you for your expert advice. I’ve played hands separate for sometime now and just started bringing hands together. The information you give is top tier and is just what I needed. Thanks for the tremendous boost. Cheers

Please read my comment and reply. I started to learn to play the keyboard 1 year ago. I don’t get time to practice daily but I try somehow. My main difficulty is to earn to play with the left hand. But I am following you instructions very careful. I want to thank you for inspiring me to be interested in following your instructions.

Pretty much doing this trying to start with wind crest from FFX2, doing it like this combined with ALL the extra time trying to workout what key needs to be pressed for each note in the sheet music is taking an absolute age lol! 3 weeks of daily practice to learn the first 48 measures so far, but ignoring the time the process works, and I can't believe what I'm hearing as I'm now able to play this bit reasonably kind of ok, though still slower than it should be but just hearing it as I'm playing it is massively motivating, though the next part gets harder so have been stalling and sticking to playing what I've learnt so far to get it better before moving on

Great topic for beginners, like me While I have only become comfortable with a couple songs two handed at this point, I know your advice is sound

You see, the problem is that my hands are already independent. That is, they each do whatever the h*ll they want...

As you’re moving along measure by measure, when is it appropriate to go back in the song and practice what you’ve already gone over ?
