🎗️ Understanding Endometrial Cancer Risk Factors 🌸
Certain factors may increase a woman’s risk of developing endometrial cancer. Here are some key ones to keep in mind:
🔹 Age: Most common in women over 50
🔹 Hormone Imbalance: High estrogen levels play a role
🔹 Obesity: Body fat contributes extra estrogen
🔹 Family History: Risk rises with close relatives having cancer
🔹 Diabetes: Type 2 diabetes may increase susceptibility
🔹 Hormone Therapy: Estrogen-only therapy post-menopause
🔹 PCOS: Polycystic ovary syndrome can raise estrogen
🔹 Menstrual History: Early periods or late menopause
🔹 Radiation Exposure: Prior pelvic radiation is a factor
Prioritize regular health checks and know your risk. Early awareness can make a difference! 💖
