As a naturally hairy Italian girl, I am NOT prepared to go back to having to pluck my brows every day again. UGH. Pardon my French, but, FUCK this trend. I refuse lol. Hopefully this trend leaves quickly. Bushy brows are beautiful!

So I worked for a dermatologist back in the day and got free laser hair removal... on my eyebrows!! I am so angry at myself because they will never grow back. I did not know that you lose them as you get older, so I have a tiny bit in the front and no tail at all.

The only time I cried at a salon was when an overzealous tech decided to literally wax my brows in half. I couldn’t even look in the mirror. And it took MONTHS for them to grow back. As passionate as you are about eyebrows, I feel the same about lash extensions. I kinda just don’t get the super, super exaggerated look!

I plucked mine into a slim arched shape during the 90s and they have NEVER grown back. I remember one of my teachers telling me they looked like those birds young kids draw and that they were about to fly off the top of my forehead!

I have bushy brows and I am refusing to take part in that trend. I'd rather paint my brows bright blue than do the thin brow trend!

I plucked my eyebrows really thin back in the 80's in high school and they never really grew back.

I agree with you. I did it in the past and the change was long to return tomy natural eyebrows line and nature. And like many girls I did it because it was the trend and it "had to be" like this. Soon after I stopped having thin eyebrows, I was liking my eyebrows natural, doing just the space abroad the nose and between the eyebrows and still do almost the same style now, keeping the natural directions and line of my eyebrows. <3

i thankfully ignored this trend. There were girls at my school whose eyebrows were one or two hairs wide. It was awful. I did overpluck my eyebrows when I got a bit overenthusiastic, but lockdown and just forgetting I had eyebrows thankfully grew them back in. I'm so grateful. I never need to fill in my eyebrows and it's because I ignored the trends of the 90s :D

I agree! I have a little bald spot in one brow that I've had my whole adult life. Many decades! I plucked them thin in high school and one little area NEVER grew back. Maybe super severe and bushy can go out of style, but don't bring back the super thin eyebrow!

I was cut across one of my eyebrows when I was a teenager and have a scar that makes that eyebrow wonky. It used to really bother me until I woke up and started loving myself for who I am. My brows are quite thick but being a blonde they blend with my pale skin. I love your videos. You are rocking it Girl!!!

My eyebrows are what they are and always have been, bushy as hell I don’t pluck maybe a scissor trim once in a while 😂 I used to be mocked for them but I’m not trendy I just am whatever I am in the moment. Lisa leave your brows as they are. You are beautiful.

One of my greatest accomplishments was NOT plucking my brows thin in the 90s! 😂 The women I know who did feel the same way as you. It literally takes a decade or more to grow them back. For one season of being trendy. I also love and fully agree with your stance of "as long as you're kind, you do you however makes you happy." Love you and your channel for that!

I was just recently thinking about how it was only a matter of time until this happened. i suffered with my thick bushy eyebrows in my juvenille years and resisted the urge to pluck them thin for fear they would grow back thicker. I viserally disliked them though. I didn't for see the thick brow trend until it began happening, I have thoroughly enjoyed the last 8-10 years or so of my adult life where thick brows have reigned supreme. I will not change, but I will miss not being judged for my thick brows. However, I'm not sure how much that bothers me at this stage in my life. If the beauty standard changes, i will try to remind myself of what I have learned from this experience, these things are often cyclical
