SIGNALS Ep. 002 — The Lord, The Lady & The Child

The second episode of the all new & shiny AIWW Podcast is now available in all the usual podcast places. In this episode, I talk about my current cosmological views, which is essentially the love story of a divine couple resulting in divine offspring. There are three parts to this view, and for each part I share a related vision I had.

Along the way I talk about my views on the differences between Initiations & Awakenings, why I dislike the notion that we are “really God in disguise” and how coupling that idea with “the world is Illusion” is mostly spiritual bypassing, I shoehorn the Three Gunas into my cosmological outlook, and I also suggest that the Goddess will not look at you until you look at her and acknowledge her Great Sacrifice.

I just so happen to start listening to this days after I started my own meditative, contemplative practice on Binah on the qabalah Tree of Life, which is The Divine Mother/The Dark Mother and the mystical vision associated with the sephira is "the vision of sorrow". It's interesting to me that your visions around the mother are similar but also different enough that I'll be contemplating it (meeting the eyes of the mother etc.). I look at it as we are all grasping different parts of the elephant and describing it to each other. I enjoy the new format and appreciate your insight!

What you said about the mother having her eyes closed reminds me of a cat closing their eyes at you to acknowledge peace or security. Also the act of closing someone's eyes for them when they die.
