That is an amazing sensor suite and software that comprises the interface. Awesome work!

One day these robotic arms will be no different from our "real" biological arms.

Reply to this comment when we get there.

Interesting, I just read trough the research paper of Meta about 'Digit 360' and gelSight. Advanced touch sensors for finger tips, that are able discern the widest array of materials, textures, pressures etc.. They even have acoustic sensing, that gives feed back over the state of an touched object, like if its liquid filled, partially or fully filed etc..

Who else feels like we've already peaked with the technical aspects
And all we have to focus on now is system control with ai to optimize movements
Kind of like the recent update with the unitree robot walking more normally by just simulating motions in a virtual environment

What happened to the DARPA “LUKE” hand? This seems similar?

Awesome mission and progress!

It's still unclear to me how they're keeping the cost per unit down. Does anyone have an understanding of that?

You should speak with Dr Aadeel Akhtar from Psyonic. Their Ability hand is actually more technologically interesting and is cheaper

But where is the "AI" in this? Am I missing something?

It would be great to have 4 or even 6 arms like dr octopus from Spider-Man we can be more productive behind the keyboard and cut our workweek down to 30 hrs

If I were these guys I would focus more on the software and sensors (EMG) part, soon Tesla will release Optimus and probably its parts too... Like an arm. Tesla have almost infinity resources it's difficult to compete with their hardware, instead of competing, they would use it

How does it work to take the toy apart and rebuild it differently and more to a better idea that will surprise the company who made that toy

Neural link and Tesla Optimus arms will take over.

I also thought maybe the Tesla Optimus could help with AI end to end operations.

I have my two arms but somehow they connect a mechanic arm I believe that left side of the brain my be easier for them don't know ... Feels really cool I was watching Hannibal the series and Hannibal almost killed the FBI agent cut her arm and got a mechanic arm ... There's a spinal thing not sure was it was or how to describe ... Not necessary to kill anyone just by connecting that to the brain even if you are healthy and completely

Can your system be used in conjunction with Elon Musk's neural link technology?
