The past year has seen the band collect over 3 billion streams, while surging to #1 in numerous countries and across the Global charts of multiple digital platforms (including the #2 TikTok song of 2021). Within just 2 ½ months of their very first visit to The United States for landmark showcases at the Bowery Ballroom (NYC) and The Roxy (LA), Måneskin have skyrocketed from the massive support of social platforms, nationwide radio, an opening slot invitation from The Rolling Stones and multiple breakthrough TV appearances such as The Tonight Show, Ellen, The Voice & The American Music Awards. This resulted in numerous and record-setting Billboard #1 chart placements, including “Top New Rock Band of the Year” and 2021's longest #1 run at Alternative radio. With no slowdown in sight, Måneskin most recently made a global-trending debut appearance on Saturday Night Live, were announced as Coachella performers, and were hailed by The Los Angeles Times as: “America’s New Favorite Rock Band.”

I heard this solo today in athens and honestly i am shook. It gave me chills everywhere it reminded me the good old rock ballads from 70s-80s.

Mr. Bracken, I admire the calmness with which you respond to the comments of so many who think there is only one music objectively worthy of the name. Thank you for sharing music and kindness

I’m gonna come out and say it I have met him 4 times he is an absolute sweetheart I saw them twice on the last tour and one night he played a 12 minute solo which for todays music is completely unheard of you can say what you want about him but they have opened for Metallica and The stones they played their own show in front of a crowd of 70k plus in Rome I’m tired of the hate yea he’s not Stevie Ray Vaughan or Hendrix but the kid knows how to play guitar and he’s pretty damn good at it too

As a guitarist I agree on the impossibility of defining this very simple solo as "epic" but at the same I think that all this blind criticism is more detrimental than helpful for contemporary music. People making silly comparisons with Page, Hendrix etc. should wake up and realise we are not living in the 70s anymore and Maneskin main purpose is not to emulate or - even worse - to replace them but rather to fill a void proposing very basic and simple rock music that could be appreciated by everyone without particular demands. The band never claimed to be the new Led Zeppelin or RHCP because this is not their nature. The same concept applies for Thomas' solo. He is not displayed in the stage as a prodigious guitar player but rather as part of this whole concept: easily transmitting emotions and creating music by keeping it simple with few pentatonic notes and basic Am chords. I am pretty sure that all these guitar experts critics looking for more sophisticated music already know names like Matteo Mancuso. His performances are also in Youtube so I cannot understand what are they doing in this comment section

God he’s good. I’ve been obsessed with this band since Eurovision but I did think when I saw their first live performances that Thomas’s ambition and obvious creativity wasn’t quite matched by technique. Seeing him grow and develop to being this incredible guitar god has been the biggest joy of watching them.

i mean, it's nothing new but who every claimed that?! I like this, he's using his popularity as a way to introduce old classic rock to the today kids. I enjoy how he uses loop station and all that b flats (which are clearly not mistakes cause he isn't deaf)

Technically not a song, but this is now my favorite "song" of all-time. This piece of art embodies everything I love about music; hauntingly beautiful melodies, hypnotic chords, and the ability to send me into outer space. This is what my soul would sound like if it was set to music. I hope Måneskin as a band dives deeper into this type of soulful rock. I'd buy an album of just him improvising stuff like this! I'd drive hours just to hear him play for an hour!

Il look è decisamente più curato delle sue capacità musicali. Mediocre ad essere generosi.

Maggot Brain, are you?

Senza che rispondiate "allora fallo tu" un chitarrista che suona a quel livello non può sbagliare un bending su due
