As a Florida Native since the 70s, Nothing beats the Emerald Coast for beaches IN THE WORLD. I lived in many countries and states near the coast and I have never seen a beach better than those on the Florida Panhandle coast.

Great prospective and info..From my visits on the NE and SE of Florida, and the beaches I visited. Fort Lauderdale is #1 and loved Haulover Park Beach, Jupiter Beach and Jax Beach..Life is A Beach, Gotta Love It.

Navarre Beach is my favorite beach! You said you felt like it was barren & desolate and lacked vegetation ~ but that’s why I love it! 😂 It’s not as crowded or touristy as other panhandle beaches but still has the powdery, white sand and emerald green water.

I'm a yooper u seen it up there 😂 I wanted a Florida tropical feel but I'm used to nature. I'm used to plants and animals. The panhandle is a gem. The beaches from Biloxi Mississippi to port st Joe are tremendous. Major con in the panhandle is sidewalks don't exist and there's no bypasses the traffic is ungodly during the summer and half of the amazing scenery is under appreciated because you can't walk or bike fucking anywhere. Overall though panhandle was easy choice over southern Florida for a great lakes transplant. Feels very similiar to upper Michigan but a tropical version. And the mixture of ecosystems here js truly unique and amazing. 4-5 diff ecosystems all meet right here. It's neat

Yeah I knew from the start that nw Florida would dominate the list. Like, it’s not even close. I agree, our beaches really are some of the best in the entire country. Seaside and Rosemary can actually get pretty crazy during spring and summer break. There’s always a lot of traffic on 98 from Pensacola to Panama City. Walton County is one of the fastest growing counties in the state. I think the best beach in Florida is anything from Mexico Beach to Indian Pass (between Port St Joe and Apalachicola) because it has white sand and really blue water, but it’s even more relaxed than Seaside and Rosemary. Check it out if you haven’t, the forgotten coast is one of the most relaxing places you can visit in the US
