7 LEARNING DIY GAMES THAT YOU CAN MAKE AT HOME!!
❤COLOUR CHANGING CHAMELEON❤

Try this super fun magical activity with your kids..It helps develop colour coordination, hand and eye coordination and is also very good for their little fingers

THINGS YOU NEED:
- Zip lock bag
- Permanent marker
- Coloured craft sheets
- Scissors
- Bottle caps
- Round stickers / Coloured round cut-out
- 2 Plastic bottles
- Craft cutter

METHOD:
- On a white craft sheet, draw a chameleon
- Insert the sheet in the zip lock bag and trace it with a permanent marker
- Take out the white sheet and cut out the chameleon
- Take 2 plastic bottles and cut off the opening
- Place the cut out pieces on the eyes of the chameleon, drawn on the zip lock bag
- Stick the round stickers on the bottle caps, in sets of 2, matching the coloured craft sheets
- Insert the white cut out of the chameleon along with the coloured craft sheets in the zip lock bag
- Keep pulling out the coloured sheets and see the chameleon change its colour
- Each time ask your child it's colour and let them screw the bottle caps on its eyes

❤INCY WINCY SPIDER❤

Who thought we could have so much fun with spiders..Try this simple activity that will help the kids learn numbers, count them and introduce the concept of addition

THINGS YOU NEED:
- Cardboard
- Black craft sheet
- Sheets for flash cards
- Marker
- Scissors
- Wooden / plastic pegs

METHOD:
- Take a piece of cardboard. Cut a spider body
- Cover it with black craft sheet
- Stick googly eyes, or make them with white sheet
- Cut small pieces of craft sheet to make flash cards
- Write numbers from 1 to 20 on them
- Make an addition sign in middle of the spiders body
- Place two number cards on either side of the sign
- Let the child place that many pegs on each side of the spider
- Ask them to count the total number of pegs and find the flash card of the total sum

LETTER HUNT : LETS FIND OUR LETTERS

A must try activity for children to learn their letters in a fun and hands-on way. This can also be played as a memory game

SUGGESTED AGE : 2.5 - 3 years+

THINGS YOU NEED:
- Kitchen roll
- Craft sheet
- Black marker
- Scissors
- Tape

METHOD:
- Take a kitchen roll
- With the black marker, write all the letters on it in a random order
- Measure a craft sheet big enough to wrap the kitchen roll
- Make a small hole in the sheet, enough for the letters to show through it
- Wrap the sheet on the kitchen roll and secure it with tape
- Make sure the sheet is not very tight. You should be able to rotate it and move it easily
- Ask you kids to hunt for thier favourite letters

Looking for a fun activity to keep your toddler busy? Well this is just what you need. Tgis activity improves hand and eye coordination, attention development, exploring different textures and learning colour coordination
METHOD:
- Take a kitchen roll and make slits in it
- Insert the coloured ice cream sticks in the slits
- Cut a square piece of cardboard and stick the kitchen roll on it
- Stick bottle caps on the edge of each stick
- In a bowl, take coloured pom poms
- Encourag your child to pick one pom pom with the tong and place it in the bottle cap
- Match the colour of the pom pom to the colour of the ice cream sticks

❤DIY ABACUS ❤

One game we all played in our childhood..and now we can make one for our kids. A gun way to play with counting and number matching

METHOD:
- Take a piece of cardboard and cut out 10 rectangles from it vertically
- Stick the cut out grid to the other piece of cardboard to make the puzzle base
- Make 2 holes on either side of each cut out piece
- Take a piece of jute string. Thread it through one hole and secure it on the back side with a tape
- Put one bead in it and secure the other end
- Thread the beads in each piece of cardboard ranging from 1 to 10
- With a marker, write numbers from 1 to 10 on the cardboard puzzle base
- Let your child count the beads and match it to the number written on the base

❤MAGNET RACETRACK❤

Let's introduce the magic magnets to kids today. With this little game you can explain them the concept of magnetism. How a magnet can attract certain types of metal towards itself and push them away too

THINGS YOU NEED:
- Cardboard
- Markers
- Craft cutter
- Magnet
- Ice cream stick
- Tape
- Metal bottle caps

METHOD:
- Take a piece of cardboard and draw 3 circles on once side
-Outline them with 3 different colours
- Cut out the circles
- With a black marker, draw 3 different patterns of lines, each starting from one end, ending at the circle
- Take 3 metal bottle caps and stick round stickers in it
- Take a piece of magnet and secure it on an ice cream stick with tape
- Place a metal bottle cap at the starting line and drag it to the end with the magnet
