I was hoping OnePlus would make a phone with an alert button instead of a slider since it would be much more easier to switch between ring, vibrate and silent by pressing than sliding since some phone cases cutouts are not that big and some people have big fingers so it may be difficult to toggle between the sounds settings.

I'm assuming rooting this phone will be a nightmare and there's not an MSM tool available to the public in case of bricking the phone. I have my Oneplus 7T Pro rooted with an awesome custom ROM. I almost purchased the 10 Pro but decided not to after learning about merge of Oppo and Oneplus seems there will be no more root. At least for newer models. Hard pass.

Day by day one plus disappointed us for cost cutting in a major parts of the phone. If one Plus is available in 699$ than it would be a great deal otherwise they are not compete with Xiaomi 13
