you don’t need to be a Yale graduate in economics to understand.
In Los Angeles a junky 2 bedroom house in a low income neighborhood is 850K, with 10% down and 6% interest rate the monthly payment comes to almost 6K including tax but not the utilities.
Most people in those neighborhood simply can’t afford to pay that much, how can this be sustainable with rates going up?

Crashes have happened every 8-12 years since the late 1800's no matter the reasons forever debated . Boggles my mind we are still arguing if it's gonna happen and surprised when it does .

Interest rates should already be at 10% in order to curb the stupidity of what is going on with home prices. Shock the system - shut it down and get prices for homes back down to $200, 000 for a nice median value home.
