Go to your settings in franchise, and scroll down until you can find player fatigue. Turn it off. The computer is Auto subbing people because they play too many games in a row, especially as you approach the playoffs.

Ha, I checked all the players and doesn't show they're fatigued, had a bye week, and now first game in playoffs all of my starters are out - even after turning all this crap off. I'm a Vikings fan so we would have choked anyways I'm sure, but let me lose realistically at least!

The problem is that madden makes your starters work so hard in practice that they get fatigued and subbed out in game. To fix this:
1. Go to weekly strategy
2. Go to player health
3. Switch full pads to half pads
4. Switch starters to split
5. Do this for offense and defense

Ignore this dude. If you turned off progressive fatigue, go and turn it back on. Then go to your weekly strategy and go to player health. Switch the practice intensity to half pads and switch the roster to split instead of starters. That should work.
