As fathers, we have one of the most important jobs in our world. We are responsible to protect, provide and maintain standards. A house without a father has no foundation and no roof. Men and women are equal in glory but they are definitely different in function. Everyone has their place and everyone has been attacked by pop culture recently.

As men, the difference is simply that ultimately the buck stops with us. The man ultimately decides what goes and does not go within any society and we’ve allowed way too much to go way too long. For the sake of those who depend on us and love us, we must be stronger. We must remember how to be unapologetically masculine because we’ve all seen what they are trying to make us into.

This Father’s Day message is meant to encourage us for doing the things we do that are not appreciated, celebrated, or honored anymore in our world. Fortunately, good men don’t do these things for a pat on the back but we do these things because we care and it’s because of what we must stand for. Stand proud men, be unapologetically masculine, discipline your children so they know that you love them, and give love in only the ways that men can. Just because we’ve lost so much ground and so many are suffering doesn’t mean that it’s time to quit.
