Great improvement over Popeil's Pocket Pullet Plucker. I had a good chuckle at 11:28. Seriously, that is a great tool. A very interesting chicken is the Ayam Cemani. The thing is black throughout. Black feathers, skin, meat, organs, the whole thing.

Love the simple concept! It’s about time someone thought of this!

You guys are braver than we are on catching them. At 60 yrs old can’t run as fast as you all lol. They wear us out 😂 We’ve come to the conclusion that our best bet is to wait until they go inside the coop for the night and get on their roosts THEN we grab the ones we want. Great, great video guys 👍👍👍 That plucker is alittle different then the others I’ve seen. I think this one works better. Thank you for sharing, stay safe and take care-Debbie

Chicken plucking .. still not as fun as chicken EATING, but someone has to do it (That would be me, growing up!) It doesn't make for as entertaining a video, but waiting until after the birds go to roost makes capturing them a lot easier. That gal is just BRUTAL with the mechanical hand, though 😊

This was a new experience for me, watching any how. I had no idea how the process was done.

Yes I definitely like that kit. It's perfect for when your only culling a few chickens. My mind is already working in how to make that drill attachment automatic lol as I would be doing this without an assistant.

Where can you order that chicken plucker for a drill? Or are they all basically the same?

Oh no!! I have 5 weeks left before butchering my first flock & I’m definitely investing in that electric plucker.15-20 secs tops.

Poor Lil Roosters, nail you a number 4 trap on a homemade Perch Pole and it'll make short work of that hawk when he lands on it..Johnny law may not approve LOL

I guess it's either hand pluck or pony up for the drum. That's way too messy.

Wow! Great feather plucker.I would love to have one of those for duckhunting season. Pretty impressive. How did you do on the pinfeathers?

Should really leave the head and just cut the jugular, the brain tells the heart to keep pumping and pumps out the blood, no head means no pump and your chicken stays full of blood
