fun fact: The two restaurants were actually established by two brothers!

The first was American, which in true American manner was established by a Greek immigrant, and the Lafayette was founded when the OG dude brought his brother over to the states and helped him start a business.

I used to work nearby and had to work on New Year’s Day even though the whole area was deserted. I was very unhappy. The Coneys were also open and two guys were outside with those plastic trumpets you get at sporting events blowing them and yelling, Happy New Year!” They brightened my day considerably.

its funny when ollie says it looks nasty to watch them eat but in my opinion it just makes it more appetizing because they are honest and it just looks delicious.
