You can also release Ukraine as Poland, though it only has three relatively undeveloped states. If independent, it'll be democratic. So I have been working on a Poland ironman run with the goal of eventually releasing an independent democratic Ukraine from Soviet territory.

It's hard to stay apolitical when politics is dropping on cities near you with destructive force, and people are fleeing into your country and need help to stay alive.
I am not on direct border, but Czech Rep is right under Poland. We did some small donation with my girlfriend, nothing that would make a difference, but hopefully the horrors will end soon.

I'm no expert in Soviet history, but I thought the entire deal with Trotsky was that he would be EVEN MORE agressive in terms of foreign policy, and thus more prone to support instability in neighbouring countries (Permanet Revolution and all that). Am I mistaken?
Honestly Bukharin with his slower implementation of socialism (like, actually inviting foreign capital and letting semiprivate enterprises exist) seems to fit better if you want friendlier relations with the world.

I am from Russia and I, like many millions, do not support and oppose the conflict that is now unfolding on the territory of our brothers Ukrainians. This is completely absurd, we have relatives living on both sides! And the only ones to blame are two people who were not even elected and a bunch of oligarchs who fenced themselves off from the people with police and machine guns.
To be honest millions now want to emigrate too, the people of both countries are now suffering, no pluses, not even theoretically, even if you think about it. The ones who set up this "special operation" is crazy and making life of all people many times worser than it was, maybe it is their plan, to make life of masses worser just for fun, this is a wargame game for them.
