That’s fantastic news! We visited the Lexus dealer today and I really wanted to order a 2022 model but my wife hates the infotainment and lack of CarPlay, well….that’s no longer an issue. Count us in to order a 2022 model, I’m not interested in a V6 turbo GX, NA V8 for me thanks. An all speed cruise control would be nice as well as all LEDs inside and out, but those lights can always be replaced. Thanks so much for sharing Kirk.

The 2022 GX with AC/AA is like the best Lexus news ever!
For 2020 it received the RX’s steering wheel, 4.2 digital display, triple beam LEDs, NuLuxe leather (vegetarian here), and Safety sense +1.0. Give it a HUD and it’ll be perfect (for its age).

I have a 2004 GX470 I bought in October 2003 with over 200k miles and going strong. I am glad to see the new GX460 coming soon. As I bought a new ES350 2021 which replaced two BMW 530i that I had and I love my ES350 and now we have 3 Lexus in our garage with a 2006 GS300 we keep them and maintain them impeccably

Not gonna lie, this has made reconsider the GX after only looking at Q7, X5, and possibly new Acura MDX. I owned a 2007 Lexus GS350 years ago and I really loved the lexus brand, smooth ride and dealership experience. I need an SUV that is more square or "masculine" looking and the GX is perfect on the outside. But that infotainment was a deal breaker. I'm 34 years old, I want a luxury suv but a cool one lol. It's sad when you don't really want a telluride but it checks most of the boxes. Now if only I could afford a new GX lol. My goal was to get something pre-owned but it'll be several years before this one is at the price that I like. Maybe I could lease? 😩

I want one so bad...but that rear door swinging out toward the curb instead of toward the street is a deal-breaker for me.

Hopefully, the redesign corrects this issue. Either have the rear door swing out toward the street or make it a hatch that swings up - either of those options would do...but the way the current rear door operates is no bueno.
