**Eco-Sensitive zones(ESZ's)**
~ESZ's are zones/areas in India within 10kms around protected areas, national parks and wildlife santuaries.
~Notified by ministry of environment, forest and climate change (MoEFCC)

*The Aim for taking few areas as ECZ*
~ To regulate certain activities like exploitation around national parks or sanctuaries so as to minimize negative impacts on the ecosystem around these areas.

**Criteria for demarcating ESZ's**

*There are certain attributes that to be considered in order to define these areas like

~Biological features like biotic, abiotic attributes, biodiversity/species/habitat richness.
~Physico-climatic features like topography-climate aspects.
~ social cultural criterias
~Productivity- total biomass
~Cultural and historical attributes.

**Stake holder's valuation**

~consultations from zilla parishads, taluk, gram panchayats and other local bodies to get their response on certain areas whether to consider those areas as ecologically and environment sensivie or not is very important.

**Importance of ECZ's**

*ECZ's serves a balance between human and ecosytem by protecting certain areas from exploitation.

~Helps in maintaining and conservation of endangered species like one horned rhino's, golden tiger of kariranga(assam), bengal tiger(sundarban-bengal )etc
~Reduce man -animal conflicts and acts as buffer zones.

Therefore it is a duty of every citizen to understand the significance of environment. We need to understand the long term effects of environmental exploitations and inculcate good habits to conserve our environment.

Thank you:)

Eco-sensitive zones, criteria for demarcation and stake holders valuation-

This include areas that are ecologically and economically important, but vulnerable even to mild disturbance and demand careful management. Normally 10kms area around the national park and wildlife sanctuary is declared as eco-sensitive zones. It is notified by the ministry of environment, forest and climate change under the environment protection act 1986. It's aim is to regulate certain activities around national park and wildlife sanctuary so as to minimise the negative impact on ecosystem.
Recently National Chambal sanctuary has been declared as the eco-sensitive zone by the government of India.

Criteria for demarcation-

∆ Biological features like biodiversity richness, species rarity, habitat richness and total biomass productivity etc.
∆ Physico-climate features like slope, altitude, hazard vulnerability etc.
∆ Social relevance like cultural, economic and historical importance etc.

Stakeholders valuation-

It is important to take on board perceptions of the civil societies and local bodies, especially gram Panchayats to decide on areas that they consider to be ecologically and environmental sensitive.

It is our duty to leave the earth a better place for our future generations as well. So we need to create awareness and protect every species on this planet.

National green tribunal which is evidently responsible to assist and cater all kinds of environment related issues which was also in news recently. As per a recent tabloid where parliament House is revamping threatens many trees around it and raise environment related problem in a state like Delhi precisely and Haryana and U.P as it touches the NCR area.
In 2019, NGT suggested to make economy sensitive zone carrying 10 km area around National park, wildlife sanctuary and conservation reserves and present it to MoEFCC to implement. And build 22 ESZ in India which includes o
Okhla bird sanctuary, Sultanpur national park, Sunderbans, Bandipur, Pulicat etc.
The recent incident of pregnant elephant mouth burst due to intake of fruit filled with crackers highlighted the animals plights.
Encroachment of forest area for unending human consumption has arisen many diseases too and one such example is COVID-19 as speculated comes from BAT. Building dams, houses, road has arisen human animal conflict which later turn upto life of several people ending with killing that animals. Many animals which got extinct can be said fortunate enough as they don't have to endure all of this which nowadays our threatened wildlife is having.
Way forward
Urgent requisitioning of understanding animals, growing crops for them so that they do not require to enter into human habitat.
As Wilson also said that habitat corridor will help their migration.

Digital devices can harm family relationship.just proving by my own example in my home if I infront of our parents my parents used to cry always busy in phone .He told me that I don't like bcs if someone is in front of u and with u he realized that he/she is not giving him/her value of presence.in this situation I realized that this create mental, physical and emotional problems among me or them.
Today's children hv grown up with a vast array of electronics devices at their fingertips. They can't imagine a world without smartphones, tablets and the internet. The advances in technology mean today's parents are the first generation who hv to figures out how to limit screentime for children.while digital devices can provide endless hours of entertainment and they screen time can be harmful. Many parents struggle to impose healthy limits on themselves too.but global covid19 have been changed these scenario. I agree with that we should changed according to our time, environment, and situation (lamarck) time hv bring near more screentime but we shouldn't forget the negative effects of too much screen time .whether u keep the TV on all the time or the whole sitsaround starting at their smartphone too screen time could be harmful. Some of the researchers says behaviors problem, educational problems, obesity, sleep problems , violence etc.
During covid19 our educational system suffer too much impact .schools are providing online classes.exam will also going to conduct online .learning is necessary but think that without good health how can we learn.if learning medium impacts then it is very serious challenges infront us.so ncert alert guidelines regarding online classes. From 1to 8 he appreciated that no more than of 30 min online classes going to be held.10 to 15 min gapping between each classes. From9 to 12, no more than 45 min ofonline class.he advices to state Gov to follow this rule or set online classes of some limitations. It impact on health of children, , vision problem etc.
Conc :- thus we can say that excess of everything is bad .do every work in limitations of time .otherwise if we try to gaining oneside anotherside we also lose. Follow households rules.
No digital devices during family meals, family fun nights, no screen time in a car, in bedroom etc.

"Implication of increased screentime"

Whole COVID-19 scenario has changed the world completely, as most of the people are doing their work from home through the help of electronic devices like Desktop, Laptop, Smartphones, etc, which has immensely affected their health physically and mentally. Even schools are closed which has shifted the students to online classes which is an issue of serious concern for their parents.

According to a recent survey, the average person's screentime has increased by 50% and that for children by 100%, which indicates the devastating effects of COVID-19 over the students and employees.

More Screentime can lead to-

*Vission issues- Looking at the screen for a long period of time can cause strained and blurred vision.

*Poor Sleep Pattern- The blue light emitted from the screen led to a disturbance in the natural sleep cycle of a person.

* Neck and Back Pain- Long Hours of seating and watching increases the chances of Neck and Back Pain.

* Obesity and Diabetes- As people are mostly engaged in digital content consumption they are less likely to exercise which increases their chances of getting Fat and Diabetic.

Considering all the above factors it can be ascertained that increased screentime is equally affecting our health physically and mentally, especially of children.

Recently, the HRD ministry has issued guidelines regarding online classes and capped the online study hours to 3 hours maximum, which is good news for their physical and mental wellbeing.

" Impact of Screen Time "

Screen time is on the rise in COVID-19 pandemic . Anything with a screen --- TV, phones, tablets, computers, laptops, video games -- constitutes screen time.
* According to experts screen viewing has possibly increased 80 - 90 % in the lockdown that may lead to muscular weakness and dryness in the eyes.
* As a result of all those hours watching Tv, scrolling on a phone, staring at a laptop, our health may take serious hit. The mental, physical and emotional effects can lead to anxiety, poor postures, sleep issue, weight gain or obesity, even a potentially damaged brain.
--- Government's norms on online classes which limit classroom screen time :
* PRAGYATA guideline for digital education -- is released by MHA and prepared by NCERT . The Instructions are :
1). School cannot exceed online classes more than 1.5 hrs per day for classes 1-8 . Hardly, 2 sessions may be taken of 30-45 minutes each .
2). 3 hrs per day for classes 9-12, cannot take more than 4 session per day.
3). For pre-school, nursery, and even kindergarten school can only hold 30 minutes of screen time per day.
4). A gap or break should be between two sessions, approximately 10-15 minutes .

These all are one side of Screen time while on the other hand, intelligence use of screen time among children and adolescents can help in their cognitive development .

Thank you sir 🙏

Article 33 and 34 of Indian Constitution :
Article 33 empowers the Parliament to restrict or abrogate the fundamental rights of the members of armed forces, para-military forces, police forces, intelligence agencies and analogous forces. The objective of this provision is to ensure the proper discharge of their duties and the maintenance of discipline among them.

The power to make laws under Article 33 is conferred only on Parliament and not on state legislatures. Any such law made by Parliament cannot be challenged in any court on the ground of contravention of any of the fundamental rights.

Accordingly, the Parliament has enacted the Army Act (1950), the Navy Act (1950), the Air Force Act (1950), the Police Forces ( Restriction of Rights ) Act, 1966, the Border Security Force Act and so on. The expression 'members of the armed forces ' also covers such employees of the armed forces as barbers, carpenters, mechanics, cooks, chowkidars, bookmakers, tailors who are non - combatants.
A parliamentary law enacted under Article 33 can also exclude the court martials from the writ jurisdictions of Supreme Court and High Courts.

Article 34 provides for the restrictions on fundamental rights while martial law is in force in any area within the territory of India. It empowers the Parliament to indemnify any government servant or any other person for any act done by him in connection with the maintenance or restoration of order in any area where martial law in force. The Parliament can also validate any sentence passed, punishment inflicted, forfeiture ordered or other act done under martial law in such area. The Act of Indemnity made by the Parliament cannot be challenged in any court on the ground of contravention of any of the fundamental rights.

The concept of martial law has been borrowed on India from the English common law . However, the expression 'martial law' has not been defined anywhere in the constitution . Literally it means 'military rule '.

The martial law is imposed under the extraordinary circumstances like war, invasion, insurrection, rebellion, riot or any violent resistance to law. The declaration of a martial law under Article 34 is different from the declaration of a national emergency under Article 352.
Thank you sir ☺

"Eco-Sensitive Zones"

Eco-Sensitive Zones are a vital region around the National Parks and Wildlife Sentury's within 10km. They play a very enormous role in the movement of Wild animals from one place to others providing them the way as a corridor.

Eco-Sensitive areas are strictly regulated by the ministry of earth forest and climate change, under the rules laid down in the environment protection act, 1986. The main objective of demarking an Eco-Sensitive area is to prohibit activities like Mining, Hydroelectric projects or Dam construction, Deforestation, Human Encroachment of animal habitats, etc which can adversely affect the environment and mobility of wildlife.

But, recent accidents of Oil fire and mining activities in the Dehing Pataki wildlife century showed us the fatal consequences of human encroachment, the recent amendment of EIA also indicates that there is a need for new reform and policies for the betterment of environment and wildlife.

The government should adopt the development model of Singapore where they have built bridges in the forest, which act as an Eco-Link for the wildlife providing them mobility without any disturbance, which shows that they are developing their nation along with protection of its environment and wildlife in a vigilant manner.

Screen time and its impact on mental, physical and emotional health?
Smart phone generation has turned our priority from bread, clothes and shelter to bread, clothes, shelter and Mobile phone.
Began as a relief for parents to discontentment.

Digitalisation has boosted many sectors in which education is thriving. To give or not to give became a point of jettison among parents.
Study shoes 98% kids are exposed to screen at the age of 3. And those who don't generally lack those amenities. This crazy way of teaching and learning has come up with boom as it hampers mental, physical and emotional growth of a child.
1. Mental growth
Due to handy Mobile phone all the information is at one hand distance which kills creativity, imagination power, limit to think beyond and subjected to tedious way of understanding no new achievement is seen. Hence, parents can't understand potential of their kids. It also increase stress hormone like dopamine which make them curious to keep strolling which is never ending process
2. Physical health
Due to comfort, these gadgets are easily accessible in any way everywhere possible which kills human interaction, environment interaction which dissociate them and turn them into introvert kid and they enter into Virtual world.
3. Emotional health
As these gadgets are just machine sometimes display porn content in the sides, at such a tender age they get exposed to vicious feeling circles which breaks them into very sensitive human.
Way forward.
This is sure we can't stop them as there are plethora of benefits too for children to seek but we can surely monitor them through time limits as prescribed for school goer to use only for an hour and on weekends 2hr. With certain distance and every time feels stressed do an eye excecise as suggested
