Joe Biden is making a stand for what counts. His politics will move America foreward.

It is amazing that the GOP who claims to be pro military, pro police, pro law and order, and pro America continue to vote and act the way they do. I've been watching this for my entire adult life. It blows my mind.

I am so pleased this has been passed, the GOP's who tried to stop this should be kicked out, they have shown their true colours.

Please Veterans, make sure to vote for the Dems to be able to keep this bill, if the republicans comes it, ---they can do away with it again.

The GOP blew it on this one, using disabled vets in a revenge scheme is about as low as it gets. They fell over themselves to backpedal on this particular issue. Whatever the politics it’s great that this passed, it’s the absolute minimum on what we should do for our veterans.

Can't even imagine that some of the GOP voted against this bill. See how cowardly they are? It IS a sacred obligation of the US to take care of the vets who fought for our country.

I did. As a Veteran, like millions of others, I fought for a few decades. I finally had to get a Veterans Attorney in 2014. I only won this year. 2022. Veterans die and commit suicide because the VA Medical is not available until after a years long process of fighting for rights.i began fighting in 1994.

Rand Paul voted AGAINST the Pact Act, so no suprises from this excuse for a human being. He seems to revel in being a waste of space.

Be certain that ALL the Republicans that voted against PACT last week & flipped back out of shame will save their legacy. They will make flowery speeches and written statements for the CONGRESSIONAL RECORD. The RECORD is the preservation of archival history in Congress. Members are usually given 10 days "unanimous consent to revise and extend their remarks" for the CONGRESSIONAL RECORD. That revise part is where they can make history think they NEVER did what they did. Political memories are very short for most voters.

Joe, I hate that you say, "We didn't see any dramatic changes". The only change was the removal of one sentence...That is what you should have said. One implies that there were changes, the other, there were no changes. Maybe that's the southerners talk.

I still have the feeling that it is like when you find evidence that you are being cheated on, but find ways to explain it away…..

The PACT Act passed 86-11, which provided funding to veterans for health care costs related to burn pits. All 11 no votes were from republicans. Here they are:
Mitt Romney of Utah
Rand Paul of Kentucky
Mike Crapo of Idaho
James Lankford of Oklahoma
Mike Lee of Utah
Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming
James Risch of Idaho
Richard Shelby of Alabama
Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania
Tommy Tuberville of Alabama
Thom Tillis of North Carolina

Veterans who vote RETHUGLICON should be blackballed from using this bill . America thanks you for your service.... VOTING RETHUGLICON displays the arrogance of some soldiers. SERVITUDE DOES NOT MEAN INSURRECTION, OR VOTING AS SUCH, IS OK ! You fought to insure FREEDOM ! 🌊🌊🌊🌊🇺🇸

The way Jon Stewart is and has been using his voice to speak truth and fighting for years and years for our veterans is not only beautiful and inspiring, but also a great service to us and our country. Therefore, I think Jon Stewart should get the Presidential Medal of Freedom!

Some things are just obvious. Ofcourse you can't provide everything these vets desire, but you can and should take care of their basic needs and emergencies

Is it possible to vote Rand Paul out of senate, he is useless there, only block legislations.
