A Walk Around RICHMOND PARK

Richmond Park is a Royal Park in the London Borough of Richmond and although an overcast day, my buddy Paul and I take a 7.5 Mile Walk around the premotor of the vast Parkland. Richmond Park is a Conservation and National Nature Reserve, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation. As we venture around, we visit various points including King Henry's Mound (which may have been a Neolithic burial barrow), Poet’s Corner and Pembroke Lodge trying to avoid the lycra runners, cyclists and fellow walkers on this busy Saturday.
