If it's community made, with the communities own code, and there are no links to other organisations or businesses. Grass roots made, then I see no problem where AI is in linux

I'm interested in Linux because it's open source, and I can add or subtract, make the OS as large or as small as I like. I can not do that with OS's created by Microsoft, Google, or Apple. Chat-GPT is not opensource, and it's Microsoft. I think concern is warranted. A.I. has been around in the form of algorithms, heuristics, and machine learning. Specific applications that provide security, cleaning things up, finding answers. Now it's being used in content creation: audio, video, getting very close to uncanny valley. The ability to fool people with deep fakes is becoming more real. Chat-GPT testing has exhibited biases of it's creators. Already political at the jump. Some years ago Google pulled the plug on A.I.s talking to each and even creating a language that Google developers couldn't understand. Giving machines the ability to learn and step outside the scope of their programming is a risk. To think that it isn't is foolish.

I think it's a very important topic to have. It's a turning point in our history. Agree/disagree it's good for everyone to express an opinion, without malice, and in good faith.

Dear Alex, forgive me if I wrongly identified "the other YouTuber." Also, I would like you to know that our Patron - Content creator relationship isn't changing!

That being said, I don't like when mom and dad are fighting.

I happen to agree with the "other YouTuber" in most of his statements (again, if we're talking about the same creator and the same video).

I know exactly who this "other youtuber" is...lol There isn't very much I do agree with him on. I have to agree with you on this one. The genie is out of the bottle and isn't going back in. It has to go forth the right way. That being said, Linux is Linux and you will always be able to remove whatever you want.
