Imagine you're a spring. When you squat, you're locked and loaded. Put less pressure on your front foot and swing your shoulders hard. After that, stand up from the squat, that kick the board harder.
To get back up, once again put less pressure on your front foot and swing your shoulder back on place (or keep swinging to do a revert.)

This definitely helps lol because when I tried to do a power slide before and I kinda just stayed in the board slide stance and flew forward but This really helped me with my power slides
