Traxxas | E-Revo 2.0 Vs 1/16 E-Revo VXL

Hey everyone, in this video we have the battle of size, the 1/10th scale E-Revo going against the mini 1/16th scale E-Revo!

We put both cars through the same challenges such as street speed test, stability/racing test, and air skills test!

Some weaknesses for the E-Revo will be the pivot balls pulling out of the arms, the motor coming loose, and the drive cups do wear quickly. We would recommend the Traxxas steel heavy duty drive cups as a must need upgrade! As for the 1/16, we have yet to find a weakness. We’ve only had the Mini E-Revo for 5 month. The more time we have to run this car, we will report back our findings.

Both cars handle great and we would definitely recommend both! We would also like to say this is a comparison between the 2, and there is no direct winner.

You would think the bigger car is better, but it’s not. With some minor upgrades the Merv is awesome.

My UDR was just to much speed/mass for playing around in my large backyard. It was 1/2 low grass, some packed dirt and areas of roots around larger trees. I quickly tired of flipping back over the 1/16 Revo but it founds its place on mu paved driveway. With street tires it handles great/fast/accel and the perfect size.

When both are tuned properly, both are excellent cars! I have built both from the ground up and both are just a blast!

the vxl is small and fun (I use a baha bug body) the rpm arms are real good upgrade as Ive plowed full speed into fencepost and only took a nick out of the a arm...however.. its small and its LIGHT.. I have hard time racing with anything bigger then me but I still have fun - I chose the vxl because of its size I can stuff it into small pack and go anywhere

As an owner of both of these cars, it is very hard to pick one over the other. I started with a Merv and then got the full size just a week ago because I have always wanted one.

Do Traxxas Bandit front tires fit on a Rustler 4x4 or Slash 4x4. ?

Hi Bandit ... I like your videos ... pls more of them. I have bought the E-revo 1/16 for my daughter today. We drove a while and have ssen, that the front tires are shaking like leafes in the wind. I checked the tires and tightened them. That wasn't the problem. Do u have amy idea, why the car is doing that? it looks like a duck wlaking very fast ... many thx in advance for your feedback and maybe you can help us. Have a nice day. Greetz from Germany ... That 1/16 revo needs that center differential kit upgrade it will stop the wheelies and the race would be way closer good video though 👍🏼

Well I put my mini revo with 2 2s batteries to equal 4s and it was back flipping like crazy in mid air on a race track everything else was stock

baseball with RC cars would be great, have them hit the ball a bit, then the opposing team has to get the ball into some kind of area before the car gets to first

Found out few weeks ago traxxas stopped making e revo 2.0 and summit 1/10 … if u guys award of it

Traxxas makes rear arms that increases the wheelbase 10mm. Helps a little 🤷🏼
Aslo makes a center diff that helps keep the wheels down too

Throw those traxxas batteries in the bin mate they are only 30c all traxxas batteries are 30c only you want atleast 50c or higher
