Probably the reason why the adventures guild never runs out of work probably escorting civilians through the route

So many traveling npcs we meet always seem to get stuck in nations they’re not from and now it’s obvious why 😭

The truth is that they all can use teleport waypoints. But they're just gaslighting the traveler to make him believe he is special

Id love to see a video discussing how awful and inaccessible teyvat is for physically disabled people. Ever since meeting that wheelchair bound girl in yoimiya's story quest its become tradition for me to go through places of interest and see how bad it would be. Poisson is by far the worst offender.

god i would love an event where we fix up the roads and patrols in teyvat!
It'd be like revitalizing or even making our own silk road across the continent.

I love to imagine that from the first village in natlan they put that one saurian that attacks you (possibly their own, since there is a breeding area at the village) just to tell the tourist "well, you better hire us as guide then!"

i think from a really high up point on the map you can see that Sumeru desert does end and turn into ocean somewhere along the southern port, so its feasible that one could sail from Port Ormos around the desert and end up near the People of the Springs' ocean. there isn't technically a port there but it is a sea route

Teyvat's OSHA havin a field day with the Children of Echoes.

honestly tourists must go to Natlan by sea, the way that connects to the desert just doesn't resemble a road at all.

I like how the Traveler says his goodbyes on the dock in Fontain and then immediately teleports into Natlan. Who can use the teleporters? Is it any vision weilder, or just the Adepti?

Ritou maintained their dock for years despite the closed borders but the people of the springs just expect hundreds of tourists to swim there (that's probably how that melusine got there now that I think about it)

why is this the Genshin content i never knew i wanted?

It's maddening to me that the fact that Ameyalco Waters, despite being a vacation centre and is litterally by the seaside, DOESN'T HAVE A PORT, otherwise getting to natlan would be a very easy task.

it's like they were trying to out-do themselves when they added Natlan to the map

"you thought the rest of the map didn't make sense? check this shit out!"

If you go to the higher points along the edge of the jungle, you can see how natlan rises out of the sea on the left and right, so i'd say there's def a water route from fontaine to natlan

With how confusing sumeru is, all i am certain of is that sumeru's diverse yet hostile environment is both its greatest asset and biggest drawback imo: it stands out for its nature/deserts + wildlife as a backbone of sumeru's identity for all sorts of research regarding biodiversity and past histories as a lot of past relics were left behind in both rainforest and deserts... But said wildlife and hostile environment is a massive drawback when it comes to traveller convenience and overall safety compared to other regions -- though with how unguarded sumeru's cities are (as seen in a previous video) and as the nation of dendro it makes even more sense for the region to be naturally hostile and left as it is to ward off a lot of ppl who might want to do illwill while traversing in sumeru before they can get into civilization. Not to mention the wildlife, natural biomes, diversity of fungi/creatures/beasts all around IS the nation's icons and defensive measures to keep ppl in line...

And since sumeru's akademiya has the amurta (biology) and other darshans study many things on the field it makes even more sense for the residents/researchers of sumeru to just adapt, preserve and go with the flow with its own risks even if it may come at the people's expense; tighnari's and al haitham, quests to an extent has shown the npcs getting into tragic or deadly situations not only from their own academic dilemmas, study goals, circumstances and reasons but you can kind of pick up moments where the npcs get in trouble or disregard their safety for their own goals in sumeru's hostile areas. The forest watchers and core of 30 are in DIRE need of stepping up in numbers for now... Lets hope with Nahida now taking charge more intellectual pursuits are also to help aid the ppl including the betterment of travel safety and overall security

Teyvat could be a round planet, that kinda explain how inazuma people can travel to natlan without a huge land gap

Tho is likely it just the game map designer doesnt design properly for daily teyvat people

At this point Snezhnaya is gonna have to have planes to make Teyvat make sense

This is inspiring me to make a similar video for the world of BotW/TotK. We see that there is travelers and trade even after the calamity/upheaval even though the world is full of monsters. Makes me curious how these NPCs are actually getting across Hyrule without dying.
