A biased opinion: I would love Ponga, but it would only be great if he stayed for the long term. I would rather keep Barnett and Fisher on for as long as possible because I believe they will help the future warriors step into their role.

Taine needs to become an elite level ball player for him to be a long term fullback in my mind. It's so hard to win consistently with an undersized fb, unless he's got pace like Reece..

On the last point, I think our system suits Ponga so much. We are craving a game breaking back that works off the platform set by the grind.

TMM & CNK are both 29. Like you said we have cover for CNK. TMM is too good to be playing NSW Cup. So really not surprised he’s moving on especially when there’s a demand for experienced halves in the NRL or Super league 🤷🏽‍♂️ I don’t know what to make of about the Ponga rumours, I reckon he will have a crack at union before coming to Warriors

heard alot of things about ponga the wanting to move to kiwi side and playing for maori side and fact he has said he wants to be closer to his dads side so i wouldnt be surprised if we see him pop up
