Dr. Kupferman knew he wanted to be a dentist when he was young – his uncle was a dentist, and he inspired Dr. Kupferman to go into the field. After finishing his undergraduate studies at Yeshiva University in Manhattan, he earned his Dental Degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He was always interested in the surgical aspect of dentistry, so he went on to the UCLA School of Medicine to earn his Medical Degree and gain additional surgical experience. While at UCLS, Dr. Kupferman also finished a general surgery internship, a three-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program, and his ABOMS board certification. This specialized training gave him the skills necessary to treat a wide variety of oral and facial conditions.

Dr. Relle knew he wanted to go into dentistry early on, so he chose to enter a pre-dental program at Purdue University. After finishing his undergraduate studies, he went straight to Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. In dental school, Dr. Relle was always drawn the surgical side of the field, so he decided to pursue a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He completed his residency at Harbor-UCLA medical center in 1988, earned his certification from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and he's been living and practicing in Los Angeles ever since.

Dr. Walline decided to pursue dentistry while he was in college. His father is a dentist and he had the opportunity to see him helping patients firsthand growing up. After finishing his undergraduate degree, Dr. Walline earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in Lincoln. He decided to continue his training by going to medical school at UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine. Earning both a medical and a dental degree created a great foundation of skills to treat more advanced oral and facial surgery cases and provide his patients with the highest level of care. Following his educaiton and residency, Dr. Walline also earned his ABOMS board certification.

Dr. Lee received his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Pacific Union College in 2007. After completing his undergraduate career, he continued on to dental school at UCLA. In 2011, he graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Once he was done with dental school, Dr. Lee decided to take his education one step further and pursue a medical degree. He felt that holding both a dental and medical degree would help him provide the very best, most comprehensive care to his patients. He graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern in 2014 and stayed in Texas to complete his residency.

Dr. Sonnichsen is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Sonnichsen graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgetown University in 2008. She attended dental school at the University of Connecticut, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. After earning her degree, Dr. Sonnichsen completed her oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Ohio State University. During this time, she gained hands-on experience in a hospital setting and received training in the safe administration of anesthesia and sedation. She completed her residency in 2016 and moved to California with her husband.
