Figuring out Louis Kauffman's Rope Tricks - Snake Charming
Показать описание
In this act, the magician makes "a pile of coils" and then pulls the head of the snake through the coils to reveal the snake's knots. Look at these knots closely. Notice that they are all equal. This type of knot is the simplest knot we all know how to do. In mathematics it is called a trefoil knot, but it is more commonly known as overhead knot. There are basically two moves to tie it: first, you make a loop, and then, you pass one of the ends through it.
To crack this trick, we suggest you try to tie two or more trefoil knots at the same time. This video gives a hint on how to do that.
Once you manage to get two knots at once, try adding more knots to the mix. Then get creative! Think about how you could make the tying process look more impressive, like a snake coming out of a basket.
