As an Alabamian, I LOVED this!! The pronunciation of “Conecuh” made me laugh so hard. It’s cun-ec-ah! 😂 The McWeevil is in my hometown, so it was nice to see that one get some recognition. It’s even more horrifying in real life!! Google at your own risk!

As someone who was born and raised mostly in Huntsville or Madison county area. I love the Alabama skits. Amazing job.

There is a small town south of Montgomery named Grady. There is an old school house turned into a restaurant. The food is legendary.

And there are many sites related to the Civil Rights Movement that can be visited in Alabama. Selma, Montgomery, Tuskegee, & Birmingham all have places to go.

As your local Alabamian, I have to mention how you left out the Cahaba River, home of the extremely beautiful and extremely rare Cahaba Lily. There’s also some history there: It’s called the slab. A large concrete slab going across a section of the river. It was used by miners back in the day. Eventually it broke a little after the miners were done, but it’s still there and VERY slippery.
