In this After Effects tutorial, we’re going to jump into a fun and easy tutorial for taking your motion graphics and turning them into 3D motion graphics. 3D motion graphics and titles allow you to create work that pops and stands out. Nice, wondering if you could use the multiple drop shadows to FINALLY get a gradient extrude effect (even though it would only go from top to bottom, not left to right).

TIP: you can change the color of the top, back, sides of an extruded shape if you select the shape and go Add - Top/Side/Bottom - Color (found out 5 minutes ago from Motion Design School)

very cool but just for the protocol - after effects isn't a 3d software. the maximum is 2.5D which gives you the option to move a "flat page" in a 3d world. but still, awesome tutorial as always (:

This is just a 3D effect - which looks great and its not isometric at all.
