AWS Summit ATL 2022 - Modernizing data collection at FINRA with Amazon DocumentDB (DAT205)

FINRA regulates a critical part of the US securities industry: brokerage firms doing business with the public. FINRA collects data from hundreds of thousands of data providers, taking in up to 550 billion market events per day. They needed to improve accuracy, reliability, and consistency in the information they collect, aggregate, and disseminate to reduce industry costs while keeping the data secure.
