This project is about controlling the brightness of a LED with an arduino and displaying the brightness percentage on a LCD 16x2.

Parts Required
1x Arduino
1x LCD 16x2
1x Breadboard
2x 10k Ohm Potentiometers
1x 5mm LED
1x 220Ohm Resistor
Jumper Cables

While the backlight pin (pin15 LED+) was directly connected to the +5v, you can't adjust the brightness. The second potentiometer was only connected to the arduino. You need to connect the backlight pin not to the +5v but to the potentiometer if you want to see the brightness up or down.

Question, after connection all required wires, does the LCD backlight comes on, or we need first load the LCD code to Arduino? I did all wiring correctly but don't see back light, I don't know is the LCD bad, or I still need to load Hello World code, please let me know, thanks
