► About The Game...
• IF YOU CAN DREAM IT, YOU CAN BUILD IT.
Raise a city from the ground up and transform it into the thriving metropolis only you can imagine. You've never experienced building on this scale. With deep simulation and a living economy, Cities: Skylines II delivers world-building without limits.

Lay the foundations for your city to begin. Create the roads, infrastructure, and systems that make life possible day to day. It's up to you – all of it.

How your city grows is your call too, but plan strategically. Every decision has an impact. Can you energize local industries while also using trade to boost the economy? What will make residential districts flourish without killing the buzz downtown? How will you meet the needs and desires of citizens while balancing the city's budget?

Your city never rests. Like any living, breathing world, it changes over time. Some changes will be slow and gradual, while others will be sudden and unexpected. So while seasons turn and night follows day, be ready to act when life doesn't go to plan.

An ever-expanding community of Builders means more opportunities to build a truly groundbreaking city with mods. They're now more easily available in Cities: Skylines II.

The most realistic and detailed city builder ever, Cities: Skylines II pushes your creativity and problem-solving to another level. With beautifully rendered high-resolution graphics, it also inspires you to build the city of your dreams.

• DEEP SIMULATION
AI and intricate economics mean your choices ripple through the fabric of the city. Remember that as you strategize, problem-solve, and react to change, challenges, and opportunities.

• EPIC SCALE, ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES
Cities: Skylines II lets you create without compromise. Now you can build sky-high and sprawl across the map like never before. Why not? Your city is you.

• CITIES THAT COME ALIVE
Your decisions shape each citizen's life path, a chain of events that defines who they are. From love and loss to wealth and wellbeing, follow their life's ups and downs.

• A DYNAMIC WORLD
Pick a map to set the climate of your city. These are the natural forces you'll negotiate to expand your city amid rising pollution, changeable weather, and seasonal challenges.

You can upgrade your Taxi service by setting down a station and upgrading it therefore you don't need stops as people can call for a cab to wherever they are.

32:40 you mentioned earlier placing paths so people don't need to drive everywhere but currently you have that highway splitting the suburb in half, there's no pedestrian connections across the highway so people going from one side of it to the other are still using cars. if you add pedestrian underpasses or overpasses for the highway, and a few more local shops so people don't have to drive to the city, it would become truly walkable

You could nuke all your bus lines, and redo them in a logical manner, connecting residences to places of interest(workplaces, commercial, tourist attractions), or even last mile connectivity from tram stops and train stations to the residential zones

The city's coming along well now! I would encourage you to connect the four separate suburbs with pedestrian paths as right now they are quite walkable within themselves, but are separated from eachother by highways/major roads.

Also, I would have liked to have seen the pathway around the suburb elementary school connect to the pedestrian road in more places, especially by the roundabout. I also wish you would have not put trees into that little field between the school and the soccer pitch - that should have been a good free-play space for the kids.

The farming peninsula had a weird space void of farms before they pick back up again, some more livestock farms to replace the ones you swapped to wheat would fill that nicely.

One thing you need to consider is adding more elementary schools will start causing a ripple effect. Once more people/sims pass out from Elementary School they will want to go to High School and the same thing will carry forward to Collage and University. The number of sims may differ but I believe you might need add a few of them in the near future

Watching you, Two Dollars Twenty and City Planner Plays, play this game is so satisfying to me. My cities could never look this nice.

It's an elementary school. The only parking, at least whereever I've lived, is for staff. I would do a small parking lot.

If your having a central point that your Industry bus line goes out to how about putting in a small service area for it to use, if it's along the highway it would almost be like a rest stop area that has grown over time. Have a couple of the local services to suport the industry in there (Fire/Police/Medical), a couple of commercial and a few houses/motel. Nothing too big. You can use it as the central stop of the Industry Shuttle and then have 3/4 lines for your Industry buses to the seperate areas (Industry West, Industry North, etc) rather than 1 full loop of everything. A single 9-stop 20km bus line might be why it's trying to use so many buses.
There is maybe even a space for it in the area between the covered bridge and forestery which could give a nice river side or mountain side view.

Maybe add some pedestrian bridges over the highway

Wow the opportunities on this map for ferry transport between the "towns" and the main city are stupendous 😂❤

For posting services, it’s currently bugged right now. The sorting facility does now work. Post offices apparently only work if you assign an operating district to them😢

Lol Donna putting that lottery money from the Doctor to good use XD
The city is looking great, I love all the paths and trees everywhere - Just remember to combine some actual parks alongside those, since people seem to be complaining about lack of entertainment. Also, another collage/uni (maybe the tech/medical one?) might be a good shout as well.
Keep up the great work :)

Your residential would be a night and day difference if you manually zoned their sizes Vary up the sizes 3x3, 2x3, 4x4 etc while sometimes leaving some space in between them too. I know its painfully long to do but it truly makes a world of difference for the suburbs. Great job on the layout though, it looks awesome! Also I agree European low density houses in this are the only way to go ha

I think you’re treating elementary and high schools a little too much like colleges or universities in real life. In the city I live in there’s 100 total schools between elementary and high schools but only 2 main universities and a few colleges. My point is that you should consider putting down more general education because obviously there’s 17k students eligible for elementary in your city that are not being enrolled because you only have 3 schools in your city of almost 100k. I think you should put maybe 1-3 schools PER neighborhood depending on the size of the neighborhoods.

An elementary school doesn't need to be thought out that much. It's an ELEMENTARY school. A large parking is pointless. Students won't drive their because they are 5-10

47:02 You can turn off snapping for buildings too and center it yourself😊

When you were struggling with that roundabout it reminded me of something you can do to create nodes. If you double click on an existing road then it will create a node. Useful if you want a roundabout there or to create a midpoint.

The suburbs you make look a lot like the ones we have in Germany and Denmark with paths behind the sheds and backyards of people some playgrounds and busses. Just schools get build together with kindergardens pretty much in the middle. But the school you build today looks a lot like the ones i Know.
