My go at building a 2" x 72" belt grinder. Had a basic idea of what I wanted, but sort of planned out the build as I went along. It is not perfect but I am happy with the end result.

Awesome build! Nice work, could you possibly post some of the general dimensions of this belt grinder? I'm looking to build one and I love your design, I mainly need length of the two main square tubes and their size, that will get me going. Thank you!

Love your build. What motor did you use, 2 or 3 phase? Was that a VRD in the electrics box on the table?

May I ask the size of your platen? Like what is the overall size and the woking area?

DUDE!
You need to get a belt grinder to make building that so much easier!
You need to raise the grinding surface so when it tilts, the surface is still on the belt.
Right now it will be a few inches below the belt.
