Henry Fillmore's "Lassus Trombone" is the ultimate "good-time" trombone feature, allowing the McKinney Community Band's wonderful group of talented trombonists show off their skills a bit.
Henry Fillmore (1849-1936), wrote more than 250 pieces and arranged orchestrations for hundreds more. The American composer published his work under several different pseudonyms, and is best known for his many marches.
MCB's trombone section includes Cindy Campean, Bruce Elliott, Mark Hearon, Jim Pedigo, Joel Sands and Elmer Schenk.
