My suggestion to eveyone....b4 u start trading with real money ...whatever cash u gonna use put that same amount in the paper trading n backtest it first...when u c n prove u can make money with the papertrading u can start with small amount of shares overcome some fears...u gonna have that the first time u gonna trade with real money.,

U afto start somewhere..ease yourself into it...it takes carefull planning...what happens to most people they have some cash n dive right in ...i wasnt able to do it...i would save a few dollars at a time ...practice a little....lose a little...while still working n replacing losses...then i would make back...then lose some...it was a lot of back n forth...then i realise i always made back my losses...i did better when i loose some money i get focused..then i would size abck right down n trade with as little as 50$ n learn to manage my risks n as i got better i would increase my size n just take as little as 2-3cents per trade just to have consistency....n it actually worked...then i would get back to workinng to pay the bills...the trading wasnt enough to take care of the bills a t the time...so its been a growth process...then after paying the bills i could go back to risk practicing n didnt think of paper trding at the time...then i started paper trading n did exceptionally welll...didnt realize also the cash i had i could have set the ac size on the papertrading to mitigate the cash i had in the ac if i could have a process with the ac size n trading it without using my real cash but using the ac imaginary to backtest..the downsize to the paper trading was that i could use it to trade as much trades i want to...i couldnt do that with the ac i had so it was frustrating and misleading..

Which then leads to self - sabotage, which then leads to a massive loss in one single day that wipes out all the gains .. Your revenge trading, emotional hijacking, doubling your position size when you shouldn’t, your stubbornness, breaking your own trading rules are all symptoms .. This is so true. I went under PDT and having rent and food with only one source of income from trading was hard. Went out and got a Job at amazon (packing for 15$ an hr) and watched all of your podcast at work. Bro love the chanel. Got 22k in trading account, trading 3 days a week plus packin is lil easier on the mental side.

Agree. I weld on the pipeline 6-10 months a year and trade when work slacks off in the winter. I’m finally gaining consistency after 5 years of study and saving. All the other guys are either at home or scrounging for work around home but I get to sit at home and try to take over the world lol

Was laid off from my dream job last March during the pandemic. So I used the time off to focus only on trading as my source of income. I put so much pressure on myself that my results went downhill.
I got hired for a new contract job 2 weeks ago, and have become consistent again overnight. Incredible how it works. Cheers
