Here's the Irish point of view. This law was never about abortion. It was about the fact that our Constitution gave an unborn baby of any age more rights that the mother. It was repealed because 1. Irish people put compassion for others above their own views. 2. A number of US religous groups used social manipulation companied and saturated the Internet with anti-repeal messages/ads. We were colonised. If there's one thing we hate, it's other people interfering in our business and thinking we are to stupid to realise.

I was listening to an Enya song just now. I believe it’s roughly translated, Bright Days of my Youth. As I reflected on how noble and beautiful the song sounded, I couldn’t help grieving for Ireland. How her people chose to consign their beautiful children to the medieval butchery behind the doors of a medical clinic instead of committing to look after them and raise them to be proud citizens of the Republic.

When you have a baby that's Gods calling for you to step up to the plate and take care of the most beautiful thing that will ever happen in your life true blessings from God I know my parents weren't ready when I came along or any of my brothers but they stepped up and stopped the childishness and took care of us to raise 3 amazing hardworking people and I love life how can you take that from someone else even if your not religious how can you kill someone whos defenseless one thing that disgusted me was the after pics of abortion the hands and legs that's just plain cruel I hope people realize that.
