"Twisties" is a central nervous system dysfunction. It is not primarily a mental problem. She had the wisdom and maturity to respect the middle ear and central nervous system dysfunction. If she had not, her very life might have in danger.

It amazes me how someone could call someone a quitter when they choose to take care of their health over trying to win in a competition, that is so disgusting, but I guess it’s easier to sit back and criticize others when it’s not you in that position

Suni will be number one in 2028. She will be 25 and Simon will be 31. So it not over for suni . She still young even Simon said big competition is suni.

Nellie and Ron are actually Simone's grandparents though they adopted her and her younger sister Adria when her mom was having issues with Drugs etc. Simone has won 2 Gold Medals already in these Olympics and has a chance to win 3 more medals in the Apparatus finals def golds on Vault and Floor and possibly on the Balance Beam which would make her the first non Soviet/eastern European Gymnast male/female to win 5 Gold medals in one Olympics and it would tie her with Soviet legend Larisa Latynina with 9 Gold medals as the woman in Olympics history with the most gold medals in the games though she'd still have the most medals over all with 18 over 3 Olympics 1956 1960 and 1964 while Simone would be 2nd with 12 medals 9 Gold 1 Silver 2 Bronze knocking Vera Čáslavská of Czechoslovakia to #3 with 11 medals after being #2 for nearly 60 yrs.
